Life, Scripted

The Chicago Film Fest takes over the city.

Film festivals often feel inaccessible to the general public. So to invite people from all walks of life to the Chicago Film Fest, we created a highly contextual campaign that used short screenplays to narrate the everyday happenings of the city. The stars? Ordinary people.

Festival Trailer

We launched the campaign with a trailer narrated by the advertising giant himself—
Don Draper (aka Jon Hamm).

Contextual OOH

Followed by a series of contextual OOH placements that took over the city and narrated life in real time.

Live Activation

The campaign culminated at the festival itself, where we created hyper-contextual scripts in real time.
